SOFF Investment Phase Pipeline

SOFF Investment Phase pipeline

SOFF enables the provision of a global public good: essential weather and climate data.

The SOFF Investment Phase pipeline includes funding requests reviewed by the SOFF Secretariat and presented to the SOFF Steering Committee for information. Each SOFF Steering Committee meeting endorses a new batch of funding requests, which are added to previously endorsed batches.

All funding requests listed below have been assessed and cleared by the SOFF Secretariat with inputs from the WMO Technical Authority based on technical feasibility, timing and scheduling, financial considerations, and risk assessment. These will be presented to the SOFF Steering Committee in due course and in the order they are presented below for a funding decision.

The creation of the SOFF Investment Phase pipeline is part of the approach on managing country funding requests outlined in Decision 11.6.
